FROM OUR MEMBERS…
“I wanted to find a group of girls who made me laugh, and I felt like I could be myself around them. I found that in Pi Phi and in my friends who are in other chapters!! Being a member of Panhellenic has reinforced that showing up for other people matters! Whether it’s going to a philanthropy event, seeing my friends on campus, or taking time to meet other girls for coffee, I have learned that your friendships carry you through college. Panhellenic and Pi Phi mean everything to me!!”
- AVA LAYTON, PI BETA PHI PC ‘22
“I chose to join a Panhellenic Chapter to find a constant support system and community! UC is my home away from home, and I longed to find a group of women who would uplift me and share experiences with!Becoming a member of Chi Omega has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. My chapter is so welcoming and encouraging and I am so grateful to be apart of such an amazing chapter. Chi Omega has pushed me to grow into the person I am today and help build my story. I have made so many memories with the girls I’m so grateful to call my best friends and have had more opportunities than I could have imagined.”
- EVA GUY, CHI OMEGA PC ‘23
“I decided to join a Panhellenic Chapter to find the sisterhood I had being apart of my soccer team growing up. I wanted to be surrounded by driven, supportive women who value leadership, service, and friendship. Being part of a chapter has helped me build confidence, develop meaningful connections, and get involved on campus. Being a member of Gphi has taught me so much about community. I love how everyone always shows up for each other and supports one another unconditionally. I have gained lifelong friendships with girls that have shaped who I am in just one semester! I have truly learned the meaning of sisterhood through GPHI!”

“Joining a sorority has positively impacted me in numerous ways. It has provided me with a supportive community that feels like a second family. Through many activities and shared experiences, I've formed deep bonds and met my forever friends, who have been there for me through thick and thin. I can't imagine my life without these amazing girls, and I know they'll be standing by my side as my future bridesmaids. Having a leadership position in Kappa has been a significant factor in my personal growth. It has challenged me to develop my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and has given me the confidence to take on new responsibilities. Overall, being part of a sorority has impacted my college experience for the better. Kappa has equipped me with lifelong friendships and valuable skills.”

“Being a member of Panhellenic and a part of Phi Mu has taught me so much about my leadership abilities and has given me lifelong friendships. Through various leadership positions, such as Phi Mu's Philanthropy Chair, Panhellenic's Potential New Member Engagement Director, and Phi Mu President, I’ve grown more confident in my ability to support and uplift others. Receiving the “Spirit of Panhellenic Award” was also a moment that affirmed how much this community has shaped me. Beyond titles, Panhellenic has taught me the value of collaboration, empathy, and showing up authentically. I truly feel like I have become the best version of myself, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue growing alongside such inspiring women.”
- MEREDITH NGUYEN, PHI MU PC ‘24
“Growing up as an only child, I had always wished I had a sister who I was close to. When I chose UC, it was close enough to home that I ultimately decided to commute to school. I was super nervous that I wouldn’t make any friends doing this, so I decided to go through formal recruitment my freshman year! Being a part of Kappa Kappa Gamma has shown me that there is always a sister who will look out for you or give you advice when you need it. I love that Kappa’s philanthropy is the JED foundation, and that I have access to mental health resources if I ever need them. I’ve loved all of the memories I have made with my best friends, and I know they’ll stick with me forever.”
