Bid Day 2023

FROM OUR MEMBERS…

“Being a part of the panhellenic community at UC has been such an impactful experience. I have been given so many opportunities for personal and professional growth between CPC and my chapter. The resources and opportunities panhellenic has provided me with so far have been so amazing. Each member of the community is so loving and caring, and I couldn’t imagine life without them. All of the executive members during my time in panhellenic have been such great role models to me and I am in awe of all of their accomplishments. Choosing to join the panhellenic community was the best decision I’ve made and I will be forever grateful for this loving and supportive community.”

“Through joining a sorority, I have met some of my closest and best friends. Going into college, I didn’t intend to join a sorority, but I am so glad I did. I love getting to constantly meet new people through philanthropy events, socials with other chapters, and CPC events! Having a safe space on campus is very important for me and I’m so happy I found that through Theta Phi Alpha!”

- RENEE IVES, THETA PHI ALPHA

“The CPC community has shown so much love to me and my chapter. If I hadn't joined the CPC community, I wouldn't have met the people in my Rho Gamma group who are always there to wave and give me a smile when walking around campus. That truly brightens my day and makes it even better. We always appreciate seeing the rest of the CPC community at our philanthropy events. This just shows how much everyone cares about one another. When I went on the FGL retreat, I was with a mix of different people from the whole FSL community. This mix helped me realize how values can be different, but all of us show respect for one another. We truly are a community.”

-CHARLOTTE EHING, PHI MU

“Joining a sorority has positively impacted me in numerous ways. It has provided me with a supportive community that feels like a second family. Through many activities and shared experiences, I've formed deep bonds and met my forever friends, who have been there for me through thick and thin. I can't imagine my life without these amazing girls, and I know they'll be standing by my side as my future bridesmaids. Having a leadership position in Kappa has been a significant factor in my personal growth. It has challenged me to develop my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and has given me the confidence to take on new responsibilities. Overall, being part of a sorority has impacted my college experience for the better. Kappa has equipped me with lifelong friendships and valuable skills.”

- ASHLEY HYLE, KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA

“Joining a sorority was the best decision I made! Going in to college I was so nervous about making friends and classes and being on my own. But zeta help so much I now had people who had taken the class before me an I was struggling I could go to them and ask for help. I feel that I have come out of my shell and am more confident in myself.”

- ABBY FERREIRA, ZETA TAU ALPHA

“When I first came to college, I found myself feeling isolated and lonely. Living in a single dorm room made it difficult to make connections and form friendships. The lack of social interaction and support left me feeling detached from the college experience I had hoped for. In fall 2021, I decided to go through sorority recruitment, hoping it would be a chance to meet new people and become more involved on campus. Joining a sorority turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. The recruitment process itself introduced me to so many wonderful people and gave me a sense of belonging that I had been missing. Being part of a sorority provided me with a built-in support system and a community of sisters who genuinely cared about me. The regular social events, study sessions, and volunteer activities created numerous opportunities for bonding and making lasting friendships. My sorority sisters were always there to offer encouragement and support, which helped me build confidence in myself.”
